Left 4 Dead

Another epic game from valve and from the makers of TF2, CounterStrike Source and much more. This game is basically 4 players co-op through the campagin to survive zombie apocalypse. It can get u hooked for hours. The zombie attack style is like 28days later movie (fast pace). The Versus mode is 4 vs 4, 4 survivor (Bill, Zoey, Louis and Francis) with 4 Infected (Boomer, Smoker, Hunter, Tank *Witch are not accessable). However tank will be randomly spawn to players (usually with high score player).

There will 4 Campaign, No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air and Blood Harvest. At finale stage all survivor must ready to defend their self against alot of hordes, special infected and tank. First level of weapon include Uzi and a shotgun, and second level got sniper rifle, assault rifle and auto-shotgun to choose from. Pipe-bomb and molotov will be able to pickup randomly throughout the game. Pipe-bomb will emit a sound that attract all zombie area to it while molotov just burn to ground (good against tank).

A dead escape at No Mercy Campaign

Once a survivor been attack by a smoker or hunter.. that survivor won't be able to freed themself, it must be done by other survivor. So a team cooperation is important in this game.

Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Keyboard

Alright, since afew people demanding me to review the keyboard (I'm actually happy to do that) so i got no choice. This keyboard should retailing at Malaysia market soon enough after official launch somewhere in Oct 2008. The Microsoft Sidewinder will be retailing at RM299 (Mostly can find cheaper at lowyat). More basic info can be found here at Official Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Keyboard. The keyboard light density can be tuned via analog switch at the keyboard as well as volume. The numpad can be detach and attach at both left or right side of the keyboard (the connector arent USB so it can't be extended to somewhere else. And there are alot of programable micro key (which now i still no use of it, maybe some RPG or FPS games in future).
There are 2 disadvatage i found on the keyboard
1. There is no sit up (or stand up) at behind of the keyboard. (Usually we make it stand up for easy typing)
2. The wrist rester (or whatever it called which u put ur wrist on top of it to typing CANNOT be detach. (but it still comfy for me somehow)

Finecut from LYN was asking : LOL, later see you review it on your blog oh the keyboard is standard key or notebook-flat keyboard?
The answer is it was half flat. It doesn't flat as notebook's but it also arent line standard key either.
EDIT: After several month after using, i found out that there a minor disadvantage.
Testing on O2 Jam game and it seem only 6 button can be press together
and tested on TF2 and L4D, u cant press Ctrl (Crouch) + W (forward) + R (Reload) which compare to my old RM30+ keyboard that able to do that, it seem microsoft have yet to design a ultimate gaming keyboard.

Team Fortress 2

I been brought orange box sometime ago and been always playing oversea server. Until recently i found out local server and those LYN gang. Each maps has been well tune for balance defence and attack. Team Fortress 2 can be brought invidually for just RM85 and its free to play. The good thing about Team Fortress is that they have always release a FREE DLC, new content, new map, new unloackable...

Cabal Online

Simply the best gameplay system now. Compare to Ragnarok Online and Perfect World. The combo system is magnificent, stand a chance with Devil may Cry (except there no gun + sword combo. The unique battle system is like no others online games. There are 6 type of character to play, Warrior, Force Blader, Blader, Wizard, Force Archer and Force Shielder. Each of them have a unique battle mode and skill.

Cabal Official Trailer (Youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJV9mTWVuK8 )

What good about this game is its free for life! Mean no need pay for playing, there a cash mall for those who like to purchase item there (eg: premium Service, new costume, pets, and item). Premium Service are available for 30days which enable that account to get extra goodies, like more exp, more drop rate, more sucessful crafting. Its also available separately which is cheaper.

When you guys play Perfect World should know, they give us impossible to complete alone. I level 48 or 49, they give me a quest to kill a boss, the boss can 1 hit kill me and I ask a friend of mine which lv80+ also can't kill it. If i wanna search for a party to kill it, quite imposible, reason? No world message (you need to buy world speaker to speak) the Perfect World world's is too damn big, make even more harder to find people with same quest. Unliek cabal, u can solo all the way or get party to get 40% extra exp. Premium Service has several separate channel from those who play free, making less people KS your mob or people to pvp with.

Cabal Online
Rating - Online game will not be rated
Good thing - Good combo battle system and gameplay
Bad thing - The graphic slightly bad and premium service is quite expensive.

Why Window Vista?

Dear all gamers,

Time to change to Window Vista, abandon Window XP. Why you ask? For DX10 feature ofcourse. Vista is more user friendly than XP (for those from XP user will found Vista hard to use because in Vista alot of freature been relocated). Some say Vista is unstable here and that, that not true, is just merely don't support old software. By now alot of these software are vista compatible already. Some driver uncompatible with vista, vista will automatically serach suitable driver through internet. Wonder your PC can support Vista or not? no fret, here the link
The software will scan your PC for hardware requirement, software compatiblity and driver for vista.

My advice is to get MS Window Vista Home Premium, it just barely RM50 different with MS Window Vista Home Basic. With Window Vista Home Premium got get fantastic effect of Window Aero and Window Media Center freature. Remember that new Window Vista effect, such as Window Aero are graphical effect that require a graphic card to have a smooth effect. If you wondering what is window aero and window media center please come to this site here and download the short video to watch .(there is a demo at lower side of the webpage) For my opinion a PC with atleast P4 2.4Ghz, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD, a 128MB Graphic Card are needed for office work to run smoothly. For gamer I highly recomended Quad Core Processor, more than 2GB RAM and a 256MB Graphic Card (the higher the better for your games).Window Vista Home Premium Retail Pack

Window Vista Home Premium OEM

Window Vista come in 3 way. Retail, OEM and OEM that come with your PC. Retail come in a bigger jewel box, OEM come with a simple DVD plastic Case and OEM come with Window Vista are in a CD envelope (usually titled Recovery Disc). Window Vista Service Pack 1 are now able to detect 4Gb of RAM (compare to no Service Pack which only detect 3.2GB even you got 4Gb of RAM installed in your PC). Retail version are sold in every country but OEM version only sold at 3rd world country. Retail version are much expensive than OEM version.

Crysis Review

Undoubtedly the best graphical game up to date. Is rather short gameplay though. Starting from a simple rescue mission to prevent a alien invasion on earth. Get Window Vista to get full freature of DX10 of this game (fot those Xp users, u don`t know what u missing out there!)

This graphic monster game need at least 2 x 8800GT to run at full setting effect and resolution! No kidding man.

This is where you start, from a jungle infested with north korean troop

After you came out from the alien ship, this is where all the excitment begin, a armored alien!

Too sad, *someone die here*

Every Character, Object, Nature are very detailed. You can switch your suit to focus power on armor, speed, power, stealth. Every weapon are able to modify, (eg: adding sniper scope, lazer aiming or even a silencer) Click here to download the Crysis single player demo.

Best screen shot i ever took for this game!

what are you waiting for? Christmas? Save her!

Clive Barker's Jericho

New Clive Barker masterpiece, Jericho. I must say, Clive Baker must have lose his touch. Compare to Undying, Jericho more like action games than horror. Maybe because of the 7 men group... and not solo.. Here link to Wikipedia Clive Barker's Jericho http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clive_Barker%27s_Jericho

The most sexiest lady on the team!

Each 7 mens (or women) have their own skill, in order to complete the mission, you must use all 7 of them. Very nice storyline. Best part, you get time travel to Medieval time of England(1213 A.D), then Rome (38 A.D) and Sumeria (3000 B.C)

Did you know Clive Barker make the movie Hellraiser?

Monster are dsiturbing indeed

WARNING:Spoiler ahead

The last level of the game, here where showdown begin! (just look at DX10 effect!)

The ending quite.. confusing though... sad thing Simone and Jones dies blowing up by The Firstborn. After kill The Forstborn, the rest of the Jericho squad dive into the pool then reach another side with bright light and then THE END.....

Clive Barker's Jericho
Rating (by me) - 8 out of 10
Good thing - Nice graphic, storyline and alot lot lots of bloods
Bad thing - Too many pointer, make the game easy to complete, thus make it less fun.

Half Life 2: Episode 2

Alot of effect and graphical technology been added since the original Half Life 2. Those effect are explained in Half Life 2: Lost Coast, this level can be downloaded free via steam account when you brought Half Life 2 Games. Remember to on commentary from the developer at option to hear the garphical and new games technology. Not much change for me in gameplay from Half Life 2:Episode 1 with this Half Life2:Episode 2..... 1 new enemy (The Hunter) and a new weapon (not exactly a weapon, more like just a bomb that use at the end of the games to blow up strider). AI seem improve greatly, the reaction of alyx, coordination attack. The gameplay of the HL2:Episode 2 seem rather short. HL2 original told the story on Gordon Freeman come to blow up the Combine Citadel, Episode 1 told how Alyx and Gordon get a way from the blast from the Combine Citadel and Episode 2 told how they close the giant portal that was about to open after the destruction of the Combine Citadel. Here are the Link to Wikipedia Half Life 2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half_life_2

Half Life 2:Episode 2 won't be available separately in retail shop. So you need buy Orange Box to play. As for those who already brought HL2 and HL2:Episode 1, After you installed Orange Box, you were able to free those HL2 and HL2:Episode 1 to your friends.

Half Life 2:Episode 2
Rating (by me) - 8 out of 10
Good thing - Improve grahic and AI
Bad thing - short gameplay

G man look very "ham sap" on the way he looking at alyx (G Man can be spotted in some secret area)

AI reaction seem improved

Cooler Master CM690 ATX, possibly the best casing with the best value

Now i will explain why I choose these spec, The Processor, the heart of every PC. As u all know no one smart enough to upgrade a processor in future (not worth it as it will be almost same as buying a new set of PC) so i choose Core2Quad Family and 2.4Ghz (E6600) is the most lowest and cheapest in Core2Quad family, therefore E6600 is the most valur processor for me.

The Mainboard, the barebone for all PC. I choose Intel P35 Chipset. Intel is a very well trusted by me by the quality and stability. Choose the right chipset and brand is important to a PC. (eg: Core2Quad processor in BTX based mainboard = useless) To choose a mainboard, firstly you need to plan what hardware to assemble in before buy a mainboard (how many RAM, PCI-E card, PCI Slot, IDE ports, back panel ports, socket compatibility and etc) once planned search for the right chipset. Remainder! New mainboard does not have Parallel port on back panel and mostly will have only 1 IDE ports (Support up to 2 IDE devices). MSI design their hardware with a special freature called D.O.T (Dynamic Overclocking Technology), Its a very user friendly and safe overclocking software for all user. Every 3rd party company will have their own freature added, just liek MSI for D.OT. Also the chipset heatsink looks cool! More info on MSI P35 Platinum please click the link >>> http://asia.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=1212&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=170

RAM is important for Microsoft Window Vista as Vista "eat" up alot of memory for animation and graphics processing. The max RAM supported for a 32-bits based OS is only 4GB and 64-bits is 8GB. Do remember that 64-bits OS known problem compatibility with large number of software and games. Therefore i highly not recommend 64-bits for anyone. I do remind that 64-bits OS does eat more memory that 32-bits OS does, so is not worth upgrade for. I choose A-Data brand over Kingston and Corsair due to tomshardware latest report. (http://www.tomshardware.com/). Over several testing report Corsair and Kinston ranked middle in every test. Also a friend of mine working warranty dept. in a PC store told me that there are a large number Kingston and COrsair RAM under warranty.... A-Data although look noob but their ram ranked top 5 in most of the test.

Why MSI GeForce 8800GT OC edition? 8800GT GPU is the most value graphic card on the market, since my part getting direct from supplier the cost for a non overclock version and OC version different arounf RM30 only...Why MSI again? again is because of the D.O.T enabled in both Graphic Card and Mainboard. More info about MSI GeForce 8800GT 512MB OC click here >>> http://asia.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=1343&maincat_no=130&cat2_no=136

Attention to all Gamers! I been searching for years for a Widescreen LCD that supported both widescreen games and non widescreen games. (widescreen LCD that do not support non-widescreen games will cause distorted image) My search come to an end! thanks to LG W2252TQ a 22" LCD with 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 4:3 Aspect Ration Control. LG may not have better colour than Samsung LCD but the quality ain't so far plus the aspect ratio control is a savior to all non widescreen games (eg: warcraft 3 and NFS carbon) More info click here >>> http://my.lge.com/prodmodeldetail.do?actType=search&page=1&modelCategoryId=050102&categoryId=050102&parentId=0501&modelCodeDisplay=W2252TQ&model=Select+a+model

Others part of the hardware can be depended on individual.eg: CPU heatsink, Hard Disk, Optical Drive and such.Cooler Master Sphere Core2Quad CPU Heatsink
